Bible Search Quirk

I remember somehow once doing a bible search in which I wanted to search two different bibles at the same time (ESV & KJV). I successfully achieved this (but don't remember how), and now I cannot figure out how to undo it. Just today, my search pane is now showing two columns of ESV bible searches side-by-side. It does this every time I search. I can't figure out how to change this. Help!

welome to the forums!

The box below verses is used for the additional columns to be displayed alongside the search results. So you are searching the ESV only, as your search term stipulates anyway, and the 'ESV' in the box is responsible for displaying the second ESV column. If you were to delete it and replace it with 'KJV' or 'NIV' or 'KJV, NIV' (hit enter once or twice to make Logos get it), this bible/these bibles will be displayed in addition to the ESV. However, they will show the verses in those bibles where the ESV has a search hit.

To search more than one bible, you could have a collection or simply open all (both) of them and search all open bibles/resources for your text.

You can create a collection of the specific bibles you want to search and then search that collection. You could open the bibles you want to search and then search "All open bibles". Or you can run a search on your primary bible and then add one or more versions to the results by entering them in the add versions box. Here are screen shots of each option.
