I am not able to open Logos on my macbook pro. When I click on the icon it bounces once and then nothing happens. It will not open from my applications folder either.

I think you are experiencing an issue which started a few weeks ago for some users. Please trash the app in the applications folder, download and install the newest engine manually. See my signature line for a link. NOTE: your notes and resources will remain in place. If that doesn't work, please enable and post logs. Again, see my signature line.
Did you use the paperclip icon? How much time did you give it? If you right click on the zip file, how large is it?
