- Open a Bible and have nothing else open.
- Set it up in a 1 Tile layout (choose Layouts > 1 Tile)
- Open Library in a floating window.
- Go back to your main layout.
- Open another Bible
- Result: this new resource gets opened as a panel tiled in with the floating window, which pops to the foreground.
- Expect: new resource to open in the 1 Tile layout.
Note: this appears to happen no matter what resources you had tiled in the 1 Tile layout to begin with, what resource you had in the floating window, and what resource you opened next. And I think it's problematic all the time when this happens. But this simplest case with only Bibles is the most surprising, because Logos is supposed to be smart about tiling "like with like." But even with opening another Bible, it does this weird behavior.
The key is having a 1 Tile layout to begin with. If you've got 2 or more tiles already open, and a floating window, then opening resources from the command line always opens them in one of the tiles.
