Another thread led me to explore recent changes to the type metadata in the library. Somehow, I believe, Faithlife believes this will improve the situation ... I have yet to see how.
A sample:

Note one volume is now tagged "systematic theology" while only one of the 8 works in this volume is systematic theology. It appears that the new type which applies at the "work" level is applied at the "printed volume" level. Yes, I know this isn't a new problem but what is gained by making more items wrong?
Note the volume labeled "Bible Commentary", its historic value, contains one Bible Commentary out of 17 works ... and I would label it Liturgies because that is of more interest to me personally. I assume that this is to make the Commentaries section of the Guide and the Parallel Resources function work ... but shouldn't we be seeing evidence that the type is being moved to the "work" level in mixed anthologies?
And I assumed that you've done some sort of review on how this might affect our collection rules? In short, I am confused that Faithlife didn't give an explanation and warning before rolling this out ... or was I again simply not paying attention.
