Search Extensions wildcards

If would be a great help if we could use wildcards in all search extensions. At the moment it only works in some search extensions.
So, {Highlighting *} works great.
But this morning I wanted to find out how many people used Jesus' name when they spoke. In other words, I wanted to search for Jesus WITHIN {Speaker *}, but that doesn't work.
In the end I had to make do with Jesus WITHIN {Addressee <Person Jesus>}, but that doesn't give instances when people used Jesus' name when talking about him, not to him.
It would also be very helpful if {Highlighting} was an alias for {Highlighting *}.

I would have thought that would have been possible but since it is not this is a very good request.
