No PC

Awhile ago I needed to decide how to replace my failing laptop.

It looked to me like buying an android tablet would be my smartest choice, so I went that route. Now I have only my android tablet, and android phone. Are there many people out there that can only access their Logos library from android devices?

As I see that new Logos Now being advertised, I am wondering how much am I missing by not having a PC? I had thought that the android version app would do anything the PC app would, but I now see that is not the case.

Any comments?

    You'll miss a lot if you rely on the Android or iOS app. You'll be able to read most (but not all books), do basic searching (but not more complex searches), much (but not all) of the main guides, and take notes/highlighting. You won't be able to use most of the additional tools, configure your library to suit you personally, or open more than two resources at the same time.

    The app is great for me to read books, particularly on the move, but (IMO) it's no substitute for the real thing.

    Hello, Gary. I have both a PC and an Android PC. The mobile apps are basically readers with a few added functions. They do not have most of the functionality that is available on PC. I suggest you go on the Logos 6 presentation webpage to see all the features that you don't have in the mobile version.

    If you want to go cheap, you can get a mini, but remember that lower computing power can mean poor performance in Logos (slow). Also, keep in mind that the features on the presentation are designed to probe your resources: you need matching resources to take advantage of certain features (for instance, you need lexical resources if you want to see definitions in the Bible Word Study guide).
