Bug: Problems with indexing of Reverse Interlinear resources

<Lemma = lbs/he/רֵאשִׁית> NEAR <Lemma = lbs/he/אֱלֹהִים> will no longer work in a Reverse Interlinear (English bible), yet results are reflected in ESV (as an alternative bible) from a search in LHB.

In Morph Search on ESV, the lemma from h:elohim provides no results but works in LHB

EDIT: I'm not getting any results in RI's with Greek and Hebrew lemmas from the Context menu, but the same search will work in Greek bibles or Hebrew bibles with Logos Morph.

Strong's number searches are also affected. After reindexing ESV, NRSV & NASB95 the problem is fixed and shows that the issue arose with the first time indexing on this laptop (in 6.7 Beta 1)

Note the short time, under 30s, to index an RI e.g. LLS:1.0.710 (ESV), LLS:1.0.50 (NRSV) and LLS:1.0.71 (NASB) took over 65s to re-index.

Problem is growing!

1. Compared to another installation I found the problem extends to Hebrew and Septuagint RI's i.e. LogosLXX, LXX Swete, LES, The Apostolic Fathers in English. Manual re-indexing fixes these, except for The Apostolic Fathers in English (more later)

2. Lake's Apostolic Fathers in English doesn't give Morph Search results in any of my installations:-

When manually re-indexed it is not processed in the Bible Index and there are still no search results.

Note the message "Resource 'LLS:APFTHLKENG' doesn't have reverse interlinear data; can't check if interlinears are correct version."

On my other installation, I delete the older RVI, but the same version is re-downloaded. Curiously, LLS:APFTHLKENG is processed in the Bible Index complaining about the lack of an RVI file @18:07 before the RVI is downloaded @18:13 (see LAKEAF2)

The indexer is called at 18:14 but LLS:APFTHLKENG is not indexed.

Manual re-indexing does not fix the problem.

The Apostolic Fathers in English is not indexed as a Morph resource (Bible Index), but it is recognised in Morph Search

What should I do to get results in LLS:APFTHTEXT? I find the results highlighted in the text but zero is given for Morph Search in a Search panel; whether I search for lemma:θεός or "God". But an Inline Morph search gives results for both.

In fact, if I do a Morph Search of my Apostolic Fathers collection the Englidh-Greek Interlinear is the only one giving results in the panel

But an Inline Morph search for "God" gives results in the two morph resources - Lakes's and Brannan's "Apostolic Fathers in English".

Is there a resolution for the original issue of not getting results in any of my Reverse Interlinear resources?

It appears that the inline morph query (most likely incorrectly) makes use of the main library index, while the search panel's morph query uses the Bible index. Given that your inline search works correctly, I would assume there is a problem with your Bible index. I recommend using "rebuild bible index".

I did see that there is a fix implemented for the problem with LLS:APFTHLKENG + RVI:LAKEAF which should be published with the next scheduled round of resource updates.

Yeah, I saw that. It wasn't clear to me if you had reindexed individual books, or reindexed everything (given that it appeared you manually reindexed individual books earlier in the thread). The behavior could be different. I recommend deleting the BibleIndex folder and restarting the application.

For what it's worth, I haven't been able to recreate your problem with searching in LLS:APFTHTEXT.

I have no idea yet. I can't recreate the issue. I don't see anything problematic in your first time indexing log. Indexing times for NASB and ESV are comparable to what I see on my machine.

An inspection of the logs would show what was re-indexed (I found that multiple books could be re-indexed if I quickly entered the commands!).

But substantially shorter than the successful re-indexing times!

Oh, great! LLS:APFTHLKENG should be fixed as soon as the updated resource gets shipped. Please check after you get the next update.

It's not really clear to me what was going wrong. The logs unfortunately don't really contain enough information to show what went wrong.
