A Manual Grammar of the Greek New Testament Dana and Mantey

Visited a used book store. They had a reasonably nice hardback of A Manual Grammar of the Greek New Testament Dana and Mantey 1957. Had a nice foldout chart of some sort in it.

Searched for it here on the site but found very little.

The book looked intriguing though perhaps a bit over my head. Is it something that Logos should add? Is it superseded by something newer? Would I do well to pick up the used copy?

When I taught second year Greek (which was primarily reading), it was on our "Suggested Reading" list. I'd pick up a used copy if you think it would benefit you. Without knowing your level of Greek, your financial situation, the price of the book, how many Greek grammars you have in your Logos library, or anything like that, I don't know whether it would be worth the money for you. But it is a highly regarded grammar that fits somewhere between an introductory grammar and a reference grammar. It is a little odd that it's not in Logos.

There have been requests to add this book in the past, but no word from Faithlife as of yet that I am aware of. Maybe this thread will help to show there is still interest.
