What is the difference between the " Add label " and the " Add tag " options in the drop down menu when creating a note file? What are their functions? I have been using tags for both Scripture references and occasionally for key words but I have not used labels yet because I am unsure what either were designed for or how best to utilize them. Does anyone here use tags and labels on a regular basis and could you share how you use them? Thanks.

Labels are quite different from tags.

This thread should help you understand the differences better: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/104582.aspx

The shorter answer is that tags work best to help you simple categorise your notes. Labels work best for adding structured data to highlighting.

    The slightly longer answer is:

    1. Tags are simple (just a word). Labels are complex/powerful and completely customisable (you can add any data to a label). Logos use labels (for example) to mark sermons in your library with the preacher, date, bible references, etc.
    2. When you search for tags, Logos will list the notes that have that tag. When you search for labels, Logos will list the resources that have that labelling applied.

Ok. Thank you, Mark. I'm still confused but I'll figure it out. God bless.
