New Feature Desired: Logos Database
What I would like to see in a future edition of Logos is a customizable Database.
I use a database (MS Access) to store verses and categorize them and search them. The problem I have with my database is that I am not able to get something like Reftagger to display the Texts by hovering over the text. If the database were in Logos it would tag all the text references so I could preview them.
I know that you have passage list already, but that is not very flexible. I would like to add a subject, author and verses, Bible version, and a topic, and other fields so that I could enter data in one place and be able to sort through it by author or topic or subject. I would even be able to store the location of note files that I have made for easy recall.
The Database could be a flat database like a table but a relational database would be better. That way I could set it up so that I could enter Bible verses by selecting Book, Chapter, and Verses.
I am working on a web site now and I have a page on it called Symbols List where there is an example of what I am talking about. The Site is very new and under construction and by no means ready for traffic, but this is an example of what would be nice inside Logos. http://biblesymbol.com/symbols/symbols-list/ The Search Box can search any column. There are other ways of doing it that you could search multiple columns etc...
What an awesome feature that would be!!!
