Feature Request: Dark Mode for Night Reading

I love reading sometimes late at night on my computer. The iPad Logos app has this, but I was wondering if there is any way that the same type of dark mode might be able to be implemented throughout the Logos desktop app where you can change the entire interface to be dark without inverting the system colors. It would be great if this feature were located within the settings and/or the resources with the font adjustments.

Hey Andrew,
You might want to look at f.lux, a free little Windows (or Mac or Linux) utility that adjusts the brightness of your display according to the time of day. You can get it here.

Hi Andrew! This is occasionally requested. You should carefully look through user voice to see if it has already been requested there. If not, feel free to create your own... but do make sure it hasn't already been created. Creating a second one is counter productive since the point is to get the most votes for a suggestion!

I wish that would help, but I already consistently keep my brightness very low. Also, on a Mac, adjusting the brightness is a keyboard click away. F1 for the win. :-P

Sure thing. If you find a link, or create a new one, you should link to it here so that others can vote for it.

F.lux does not actually adjust brightness, but rather the colouring of your display. See this. F.lux works independently of how bright you set your monitor.

Well, I suppose if I had taken the time to even click the link, I would have discovered that. Sorry about that. I'll give it a shot, though I'd still rather have this functionality built within Logos. It's in the iOS app. I don't know why it wouldn't be built into the desktop app.

Logos User Voice has five "night reading" suggestions:
35 Votes => black background
27 Votes => Night Mode for PC/Mac
20 Votes => Add Themes to personalize colors/colours and improve readability
8 Votes => Place More Emphasis on Updates Which Reduce Eye Strain and Increase Eye Comfort
7 Votes => Night Theme Absolutely Indispensable
Every Logos user has 10 votes with a maximum of three for one suggestion.
Thankful for Negative Screen on Windows (added win+alt+F12 mode for normal color).
Keep Smiling [:)]
