Notes made in one Bible do not show up in another

I have noticed that since I have upgraded to Logos 6 that the notes I make on various Bible texts do not show up in other Bible versions. In the previous version of Logos, even if I made a note about a particular phrase within a verse, in another Bible version it would show up as a yellow sticky note by the verse number. Since upgrading, that function or option is lost. Is there anything I can do to get visual notification that I have a note on a particular verse no matter which version I am looking at?

I am running Logos 6.6 SR-2 (build 6.6.0.0069) on OS X 10.10.5. I can't remember if I recognized the problem before or after I switched from Windows to Mac. Would that make a difference?

Hi Mike.

Logos 6 offers more options about the way you create your Bible notes, and what each note is attached to.

When you right-click a word in a translation, you can add a note based on that word or phrase (which means it's tied to that translation) or to the Reference (which means it's tied to all Bibles that have that verse:

With an existing note, you can Edit Attachment Points so it becomes attached to a reference instead of a word or phrase:

For clarification: the issue that you describe (and Allen explained) is not unique to Mac. It functions identically on both platforms and goes back to L4.

If your goal is always to have the note attached to the reference, make sure to select "reference" when creating the note so you don't have to edit the attachment points later. I believe that if you select "reference," the next time you try to create a note that preference is automatically selected... But I could be wrong. It is probably a good habit to always check when creating the note.
