Start Next Now Question
Hi there!
I purchased the Start Next Now bundle with the print edition. I have a few questions about it:
1. How does one get the "digital edition" and "audiobook"? Are those in Logos?
2. Will the Vyrso edition automatically download next time I'm in Logos?
3. How does one download the ePub edition?
4. I got a shipping confirmation a few moments ago, so I guess that's for the print edition. :-)

The digital edition lives at startnextnow.com/read. It also includes links for the audiobook, .epub & .mobi downloads. (Also the vyrso/logos edition is linked with audio too.)

Nathan, sorry to hijack your thread but since Ray is around I wanted to ask: the promo email says you get two copies of the print book with the $9.99 option; I'm assuming this is an error, and you only get one print book?

That's correct. It was in error.
But an email is a promise, so if you'd like two email us at customerservice@faithlife.com.

Thanks for pointing that out! I went ahead and emailed CS to take you up on the offer. I'll take the extra one and pass it onto someone who can really benefit from it (actually I'll probably keep the Vyrso edition and pass both printed editions onto people who could benefit from it). Consider it extra publicity for Bob's book. :-)

The 'EPUB' download is a zip file with both the ePub and mobi files.

$48 is still a very high shipping cost for a $10 book. I can get books shipped from US to UK eg from Amazon for just over £5. Even 2 day delivery from the USA to UK is only £21.
Edit: The print book is available on Amazon.com (well it is on pre-order) - shipping charge there is $7.98 to the UK.

Probably as simple as someone pressing the wrong key when FL were feeding information into the software. Done it myself before now. More than once!!

I'm in Canada as well. The website must be the costs for 1-2 day courier delivery.
I can get the book for $9.99 through Amazon with $7.48 shipping. I'd love to support Faithlife with this purchase, but I'm afraid that $86 is a little too much for a 120 page book (though I'm sure it's great)

Looks like an error somewhere. I'm in Arkansas pretty far away from Faithlife HQ, and my shipping was about $4 or $5 dollars. Plus they're mailing me out a second one free of charge to boot.
Unless now that I've asked for the second free one, your shipping costs went up to cover it, so it's my fault. ;-)

I did some testing this morning, and domestic shipping is working correctly but international shipping on both startnextnow.com and logos.com was only offering me fast/expensive options (Priority Mail for London, England and UPS Worldwide Expedited for Vancouver, BC).
My knowledge of international shipping is admittedly a little thin, so I'm going to poke around today and find out if those are really the only options available to us, or if something is turned off, or broken.

Thanks Ray. I have postponed submitting my order while I waited to see the result of this. There must be less expensive options to ship internationally. I would love a print copy of the book too but if it is too much money for shipping I will just choose the digital option.

Regular USPS takes a few extra days to Canada but usually at a reasonable rate: courier services such as UPS can often add a brokerage fee at this end in addition to the expedited service fee at your end.

When I click on the link, there's a dialog saying: Read Start Next Now wants permission to use your Faithlife / Logos account. But when I try to log in it doesn't accept my login, it just returns to the same page with the login fields blank. As a result I'm not able to get to the page with the download for the Kindle version of Start Next Now. I've already got the Logos version on my computer, but it doesn't have a 'Send to Kindle' feature. Any ideas? I would prefer to read it on my Kindle. Thanks.

It is currently in Audible/Amazon's review queue. It should show up any day now (and no later than next Thursday 10/29, assuming there are no issues). Apologies for the delay.
You can also get the audio files now if you purchase through startnextnow.com. If you do, it will be available to download at startnextnow.com/read.0 -
We are working on this issue. It seems there were some newly introduced USPS rates that we weren't handling correctly. That caused all the USPS rates to be hidden for international orders.
After we ship the fix for that problem, I think the rates will still be very high. I'm going to talk with our shipping department early next week to see if we can support a more inclusive list of options.
