Forum MVP Mark Smith - Speaker at 2015 Baptist Convention of New England

I just signed up for the 2015 Baptist Convention of New England and the first keynote speaker I saw was familiar to me:
If you're in New England you can hear from one of our forum's own stars live this November!

Thanks, Dave. I will admit ahead of time that I will not be using Proclaim for speaker's notes, but I might use Logos to prepare [:)].

Grace to you, Mark, during your convention speaking!
I'd love to know what you're speaking on. (Confession: I'm not a Baptist -- not that this fact, in itself -- needs confession, and I don't live in the area. But I am curious.) If your speaking is as good as your forum posting, it'll be pretty awesome! [:)]

Thanks. When I get a bit closer to the date I'll let you know. I am working in a certain direction right now but will have to see if the Lord continues to open that avenue up for me.

Dave it was really nice to get to know you and hear about the exciting church plant you'll be pastoring in New London, CT. I was also glad to talk about our favorite Bible software for a bit. My prayers will be with you in the weeks and months ahead.

I preached on 2 Timothy 4:6-8, Ready for the Last Journey. Thanks for asking.

Thanks for the info. That passage is one of my favorite deeply personal sections in the NT. I know the Lord blessed your message.

Mark, it was wonderful meeting you too. Thank you to you and your lovely wife for the encouragement. We'll keep you updated on our church plant progress!

Mark's sermon was personal for hearer and speaker alike I think. Not sure if it was recorded but if it was it's well worth a listen.

As a former submariner, I would also be interested in your new work jackcaviness at mac dot com. Most of my time was spent on the other side of the river however.Dave Moser said:We'll keep you updated on our church plant progress!
