Logos 6 slow to failing in El Capitan

Having upgraded to El Capitan on my MacbookPro 16GB Ram, 500GBSSD, i7 Core I now find that Logos simply isn't working like it should. Not only is it horribly slow, the exegetical guide simply wouldn't open the Word by Word option - I gave up after waiting 5 minutes and resorted to my old, underpowered windows 7 laptop which in comparison is now blazingly fast

Am I alone, or are other users also finding that Logos isn't working very well on the El Capitan systems?

Is there a solution or an option that I could try? Anyone have any suggestions?

I have been running El Capitan since the release. I have had no problems with Logos operations with El Capitan.

Also running El Capitan for days without issues...
