What is the status of Faithlife moderation of bug reports?

I wanted to ask what is the status for Faithlife support staff moderating bug reports. It seems to me anecdotally there is not the same presence as there used to be, with Faithlife staff jumping into bug reports and saying bug report filed, couldn't duplicate, send more info, etc.

Anecdotally it does not just seem to be my posts although I have not been tracking them. I have had two problems where Faithlife staff have humped in eventually and it was greatly appreciated.

I didn't want to presume the process was the same as it was in the past, hence the question. It was more obvious to me this week as I filed 5 bug reports and none have been addressed by Faithlife staff. Should I continue to expect this or is there another process now? (Or is there a filter that posts by curmudgeons are not seen Smile ) I am worried my bug posts are falling through the cracks.

Performance issue on the Mac version of Verbum

Paste is not working in the Personal Book new book pane

Focus is incorrect when starting to add a new Personal Book

A toolbar icon shifted on the toolbar (I can understand no one replying to this, most probably thought I was hallucinating)

Faithlife support staff moderating bug reports

This is one of the three 'Achilles Heels' of Logos, as I've described elsewhere (along with mobile apps and notes).

While it may seem superfluous to have staff acknowledging bug reports in the forums, I'd guess it would be a cheap and easy way to reassure the customer base that they are being fixed. But I don't run a big software company, so I could be wrong (not being flippant...being sincere).

It was more obvious to me this week as I filed 5 bug reports and none have been addressed by Faithlife staff.

In our defense, most of those were created Wednesday and you posted this on Friday. We won't always get to things within a day, but they usually won't drop off the radar.

That said, apologies for the apparent delay in getting these things handled. As I mentioned in the 6.7 RC 2 post in the Beta forum, we ran into some difficulties getting things ready for 6.7 last week so that took up a majority of our time. We still have a lot on our plate this week, but we're making efforts to catch up on things that may have been missed.

Slightly related, the team handling bug reports on the forums did get smaller recently, as Angela is currently on maternity leave. [:)]

In Don's defense, I'd also noticed a more general absence of responses from your department ... noticeable because your group had been doing a very good job of staying on top of the bug reports for several months so we got used to it. However, Angela provides an excellent excuse and I am quite willing to expect somewhat slower responses in her absence.

I appreciate the understanding, and the clarification. I didn't mean to make Don seem unreasonable by any means, just felt that those particular examples could use explanation. We have been a little quieter as we adjust the workload around, and we will continue to attempt to keep up a good level of communication. [:)]

Also, it's worth noting that the MVPs have been very helpful (as always!) in assisting forum users during this time in particular. [:D]
