Given the number of tablets and laptops now in use, please could you give some serious consideration in v7 for us to be able to resume indexing from point of indexer shutting down, to have to restart from he beginning seems a little 1990's..

My Tablet has got to 67%, and 56% while indexing the 3 free  Kuyper books, and now because I have no hibernate I have to restart for a 3rd time when it should be completed..

That's not going to happen! In this situation I suggest you kill indexing and try the reindex command  e.g. reindex Kuyper1  (or whatever the book's name is).

Alternatively, submit logs for us to investigate.

Some indexing is preserved even when you shut down in the middle of indexing. It will look like it starts again from 0, but it won't repeat the books that have already been done. I don't think that incomplete index merges are preserved during a reboot, though I could be wrong.

I work from a if you don't ask - you'll never get philosophy..

I ended up manually transferring the data/document directories to my tablet from my pc .. took a bit of "preparing" on restart but all working great now..
