TIP of the day: Basic resource views

1. When you open a resource it defaults to the standard scrolling panel.

2. In the Panel Menu you may change this to paged mode (arrows at bottom for previous/next rather than scroll bar)in one or more columns and with footnotes appearing at the bottom of the page as an independent option available only in page mode.

3. In the Panel Menu you can also change the view to a full floating window. Once it is floating, the menu option changes to dock.

4. You may switch to Reading Mode (note hot key option) which fills the full screen with an automatically calculated number of columns. ESC will get you out of Reading Mode.

5. And if you have Logos Now, you may use the Multiple Resources icon menu to view multiple resources in a single panel.

On a Mac...

Clicking the green button (when you hover it will show two outward pointing arrows) will take you to 'Full Screen' mode which will place expand the panel to fill the screen removing from view the two top bars (unless you approach with your cursor). In 'Full Screen' the panel is placed in its own Space.

If you hold down the Alt key while pressing the green button the panel will expand to fill the screen but retain the top bars.

In 'Full Screen' opening a first resource from the Library will open the resource in a separate 'Full Screen Space' subsequent resource openings from the library add tabs to the panel in the new space.

Floating a Panel when in 'Full Screen' will open that panel itself in 'Full Screen' in its own space thus allowing quick access to the various panel with a 'three finger swipe'
