Trasferring licenses - any restrictions?

Hi!

Is there any restrictions for trasferring Logos resource licenses to another person? For example, can I give/sell books to another user, if
- I have got them with an older base package (Logos 4/5)
- I have got them with a book collection (for example some commentary set from the Nelson Bible Reference Bundle)

I know there's the $20 license transfer fee. But any restrictions?

You probably need to contact customer service to get an exact answer. My understanding is that you should be able to transfer anything you would like, with two exceptions:

• Resources purchased with an academic discount aren't eligible
• Resources purchased in a bundle must stay together. You can't break them up.

The restriction is that resources must be sold as you bought them. i.e. if you bought a collection that had 50 books all 50 must be transferred because that is how the licences are set up. What gets more murky in my mind is what happens if I bought X separately but was part of Bronze 6 which I purchased (you would have received the discount but does that mean that X is now tied up in Bronze 6 the licence).

Hi!

You're right. I got an answer from customer support. I can't sell books or budles that I've got within a Logos 4/5 base package, even though they are not included in the Logos 6 base packages. Also, resources that have been discounted when bought together with a base package can be transferred together with that base package only.

For example, I could sell my WBC (individual purchase), but not Pastoral Leadership Bundle (has many books from Logos 4 Scholar's).
