visual copy in mac freezes on desktop and macbook

Im trying to use visual copy but all i get is the spinning wheel here in Mac. It freezes and never completes the action so I can save the image. Any help would be appreciated.

Visual copy depends upon the "cloud." I have not experienced any problems tonight, but I know a few other users have suggested that things might have been up and down tonight. If the issue is with the cloud, there isn't anything you can do... however...

Have you made sure your internet connection is good? Have you tried restarting your app? Computer?

Thanks brother, but it seems to happen this way:

I want to take a visual copy background that is blank (no quotes etc) and use the background with my own text. When I do this on my mac the program freezes and I have to force quite the program. If I want to use a pre-selected quoted there is no problem. I could very easily place it into PP but I wanted to do it from Logos exclusively Thanks again!

The "visual copy" feature isn't intended to be a place to get "blank slides." My guess is that it is having troubles figuring out what you are doing. Or something like that. [:)]

Have you tried the media browser? That <may> be a "logos now" feature, I am not sure.

I just reread your reply, and it seems your post can be taken two ways. For clarification:

Are you trying to grab blank slides to use elsewhere (powerpoint), or are you trying to use visual copy (having FL create a slide based on text you have "copied" from your library)? Something else?

I've experienced that same frustration as well.

Though it may not be the best option, here's one workaround that's helping me with same problem:

Search for the VC background(s) you want (sometimes inserting a noun in the search box (upper left) that matches your topic helps, i.e. "fire" for a recent sermon on Hell garnered several options for me, or typing in a specific color has helped well;
Choose your background(s) from the side panel (above emerging slide choices on left);
Click the "send to" arrow and choose between Proclaim, PowerPoint or Keynote program options. Program of choice opens up an unsaved file with your slide and subsequent sermon VC slides go there automatically (or at least that's what PowerPoint does. I then choose "duplicate slide" so I don't have to go back thru VC just to constantly "refind" the same slide(s). Save the file. I name the file as best works for my message in PP (i.e "Hell sermon" or "John 3:16 sermon", etc.).
Copy and paste text from a Logos book, "Copy Bible Verses", or type your own copy on the slide now open and saved in your presentation app of choice (I open a text box in PP to do this) adjusting font, font size, font color, transitions, animations as necessary. Also, as you duplicate slides, duplicated slide text deletes easily allowing you to insert or type new text.

Clear as mud?

Thanks appreciate all the help but it seems as if there should not be a workaround, just right click and select visual copy and all should be well. Apparently, Logos needs to work on this issue as it seems that I'm not the only one with the issue when I look around at the forums. recently I tried to put a MLJ quote in to the VC and it was just one line mind you, and the spinning wheel of death made me force quit the app again. Happens on my desktop and my notebook. Thank again for all the help
