Often there are bug reports posted on the forums that don't have enough information and it sometimes takes a lot of questions and answers in order to determine the actual scenario or circumstances of the bug.

At other times a bug is mentioned in a forum thread that has nothing at all to do with the forum thread subject, and this causes difficulty for us in tracking bugs.

When posting about a bug/issue/complaint, here's what we really need:

Create a New Post (New posts are great for many reasons!)

- We see them right away
- One bug, one thread (this makes it easier to link your thread to our bug tracking system)
- Your issue won't get lost in a thread that has nothing to do with your bug

Reproduction Steps

- Please include the steps you took to reproduce the issue.  For example:

1. Open the ESV
2. Long press on a word to highlight it
3. Press "Info" from the context menu.

Result:
The app freezes.

Detailed Device Information

- Include the exact vendor, make and model number of your device.
- Include any recent changes concerning your device - did something change (an OS upgrade), etc.
- Include the exact Android version you are using on your particular device.
- Are you using a rooted device?  Sorry - we do not support rooted devices.
- Are you using an E-Ink device?  Sorry - we do not support E-Ink devices.

Detailed Android version

- Android 4.4.2, 5.0.1, 5.1.1, etc.

Faithlife App name and version

- Bible 4.6.4, Faithlife Study Bible 5.0.1, Vyrso 5.1.0 beta, etc.

Network status

- online, offline, cellular, etc.

The Resource you are using (if applicable)

- Greek Bible, Hebrew Bible, Audio Resource, Video Resource, etc.

The App Function you are using (if applicable)

- Library, Home Page, Documents, Notes, Highlights, Favorites, Guides, Reading Plans, etc.

The App Settings (if applicable)

- Is Scrolling view on or off, is Bible Text only on or off, are Notes on or off, etc.

Screenshots are helpful

- A picture really can be worth a thousand words (or at least a couple hundred).

The more details you can give the quicker we will be able to determine what the problem is, if there is one.  Thanks!
