Crash Logos 6.7.0.0036 (OS X Ei Capitan 10.11.1)

Hello,

I recently updated my Mac OSX about a week ago.

The last few days my Logos crashes so frequently.

I was using the read aloud function at x2 speed, and after about 20-30 minutes, Logos crashed. This is very repeatable on my computer and has been crashing for the last 10 days (approximately).

Thanks for the logs. We need to wait for a Faithlife developer to interpret them but you should still be able to use Read Aloud at 1x

I think the logs are a bit beyond my novice tech skills, but hopefully you have provided what is needed. I will continue to take a look in case I find an "ah ha" moment.

EDIT: Your issue very well may be related to the read aloud feature and El Capitan. Dave is a serious techie, (albeit a windows one [:P]), but it must be a bit more technical if he is suggesting that FL needs a look.

Morning, any findings for the cause of crash?

Still crashing yesterday and today. Does the suspected issue lies with my device? Or Apple firmware? Or Logos software?

Have a good weekend, no hurry to fix this. If no fix is available, I can avoid using certain Logos functions (which may have triggered the crash) until patch is available.

There appears to be other Logos related symptoms that started to surfaced recently and I'm not sure if the logs caught them:

1. Lag and/or freezes when I go to Deuteronomy passages. (Not so in the past)

2. Quitting Logos issue. Unable to probably quit on 2 occasions and have to Force Close the app

3. More crashes not related to Read Aloud functions (infrequent)

Is there anyone looking at my logs currently?

The forums aren't the primary method for FL to provide "official" customer support... Rather, the forums are primarily a crowd sourcing solution which <normally> works pretty well.

I have contacted FL to see if I can draw attention to this thread.

FWIW, I was already looking at this this morning [:)]

I've had Read Aloud going for about an hour and a half now, with no crashes. I do occasionally have it stop at the beginning of chapters, and I'll create a case for that.

Your best bet would probably be to contact our Tech Support. They can, with your permission, remotely access your machine and diagnose the issue directly. If it's an issue with your specific machine, they'll be able to help you fix it, and if they determine it's a more general bug (that I'm not seeing for some reason) they'll get it reported.
