Odd basic search problem

I'm running Logos Bible Software 6.8 Beta 1 6.8.0.0009, under El Capitan 10.11.2 Beta (15C40a), on a nicely specc'd iMac.

I ran a basic search, all text in all resources for the term "London" without quotes. That's it. The search ran for two hours while I biked, and still wasn't done. I only have a few hundred resources.

I've tried it a few more times, same result. I've tried a few other terms, with mixed results.

Suggestions?

If it were happening to me I would reindex and run a disk scan to see if my disk was failing.

Thanks for the rebuild suggestion, currently running.

My HD is a 6-month old SSD, so that shouldn't be an issue...
