Has this been abandoned, or does it only appear in the VF list when there is a case of it to be found in the resource?

Ask the Author: For resources with participating authors, this will enable the icon next to text ranges indicating where a question has been asked.

Eating a steady diet of government cheese, and living in a van down by the river.

    the Author only appears in the visual filters list if there are questions pertaining to that resource. Some resources (such as the Bible) are excluded from Ask the Author altogether (for obvious reasons), which you can see by opening the Ask the Author tool.
