Hi Vasyl - and welcome to the forums
If you hold down the Control key when clicking the Logos icon you should get to a login window.
Any particular reason you want to have two accounts? It could end up being rather confusing, and not even sure it will work, unless you are accessing them from different Windows accounts

I think you are right Graham. I don't think a user can access their resources on two different Logos accounts. Each account would have to have separate licenses.

Logos is designed for "one user," and isn't designed to sign in and out. Why do you have two accounts? It would be best to call Logos and merge the accounts unless there is something we don't understand about your situation.

As Graham indicated, you can start Logos with the CTRL (or CMD) key to get the Sign-in dialog/window and change to a different Logos account. If it doesn't exist, it will be installed as a new "user" in the Data and Documents folders.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I understand that. My point was that the software isn't designed for users to "switch" between accounts. Additionally, all files (other than the engine) will be duplicated. Right?

Thahk You very much, it is work.
Why is there such a situation?
Βecause I and several seminary students decided to jointly use the logo in preparation. In seminary we have a Logos, but it's only available in the building of the Seminary, and only with the permission of the Dean of the Faculty of MDIV in one PC. So we decided to share one account for education, because every purchase a set of books required for education - is very difficult. There is now another question: is how to use the program is legitimate?
There is a possibility to use the program or are there other ways to solve this issue?

Welcome to the forums. To the best of my knowledge Faithlife does not sell site licenses which is what you are wanting. I would suggest that the Dean of the Faculty contact Faithlife to see if some appropriate arrangement can be made.

we don't work for Faithlife... So as Graham suggests you would need to contact them directly.

A user could have multiple Faithlife accounts, and could "switch" between them as described! Multiple users, each with their own Faithlife account, could use the same computer and "switch" to their account as described. Which "user" is the software not designed for?

There is no duplication. Each "user account" (distinguished by the random "User Id" in the Documents and Data folders) shares the installed software. Note that the software accesses the database in the \Logos\Users folder to get the "User Id" and gets product licenses from that user's Data folder.

There is no duplication
So if both users have the NIV, there is only one NIV resource file?

Your question was "all files.....will be duplicated. Right?". If I have two Logos installations then there is a duplication of all files, but there is no (strict) duplication with different users. Their resources and associated index files are stored in separate "user" Data folders and accessed by the software as described above.

I am completely confused Dave. Is your argument only that my use of "all" should have been "all files in common" would be duplicated? My point was that 1) the software is only designed for one user account (else there would be a log in screen every time), 2) that using a different Windows account for a different user would be preferable and 3) the only space saving with the method described would be the engine itself, which is relatively minimal. Is that not right?

You asked if "all files (other than the engine) will be duplicated". To my way of thinking there is no duplication when different users have an installation on the same computer, so I answered "There is no duplication". Clearly, I should have answered with a simple "No"!
alabama24 said:1) the software is only designed for one user account (else there would be a log in screen every time),
It's designed for multiple users because of the random "User Id" which is linked to a Faithlife account (your Sign-in) via a database in the Users folder. That way, the software accesses the correct Data and Documents sub-folders for the user.
"Switching" between Faithlife users is more difficult than switching between Windows user accounts, though.

Correct. That saves about 270 MB (Windows MB!).
