Tozer Collection

I am considering adding the P&C Collection Bronze mainly for the Tozer collection. Can anyone with these resources give me some feedback if you enjoy and find them useful?

Thanks! Did not know that.

Kason, if you are primarily wanting Tozer I would at least wait to make your decision until after Black Friday in case the Tozer collection goes on sale at that time.

I bought the P&C Bronze for the same reason. I could actually by the entire base package for less than I could the entire Tozer collection. I have no experience with the other resources in the base package. For me it was a win win situation. Get the Tozer collection plus resources for less than I could the Tozer collection outright.

I'm in the same position. I can get the package for $250.

I appreciate a lot of the pastoral side of Tozer. I do not fall into the "P&C" theology, but much of the application oriented writings are very good. I use his devotional for leaders as one of my main daily devotionals. He is very quotable, and it is good to be able to find the context of some of those quotes, something the collection does. I have had it for a long time and have read about half of it.

This is a big season for Logos sales. You may want to wait a little while to see what goes on sale, and weigh the differences. The base packages will be here, and when they go on sale, it is generally 15%, however, the sale price and percentage on the various resources will vary.

Kason,
I really enjoy the Tozer collection. I would do as Bruce suggested and wait until after black Friday.

but what if...The publisher says, "we no longer want to make it available in Logos format!" Then he'd no longer have access to it! After all, what are the odds and with communication being so poor, I would not take any chances. Plus, he still gets 30 days to return if anything changes during that time

I don't own the particular Logos package, but I will say that Tozer is among the best writers of this generation. It looks like this package has most everything he has ever done, lots of books I was unaware of, so I appreciate this thread from that standpoint as well.
If you want your books integrated with Logos, and you like reading material in this format, I'd say go for it. I prefer reading (as opposed to Bible Study) in Kindle format, and then transferring my notes/highlights of the book over to Evernote in just a minute or two. You CAN convert from Logos to Kindle format, but Amazon is almost always far cheaper, and if you buy from Amazon, transferring your highlights and notes to Evernote is ridiculously easy.
Just my particular preference and usage.
As for the P&C collection, if it is close in price, I would think there would be some useful resources available within it, depending on where you are coming from, theologically. From where I am, if I were going to buy the Tozer package, I'd probably get the P&C collection instead.
