This crash is sporadic.  I was trying to do a morph search on the word meek (Gk. πραυς), in Matthew 5:5, right clicking on the word in the ESV text, and selecting lemma, and then Morph.

I am using Logos 6.7.0.0044 on a Mac running 10.11.1.

This is not just the morph search.  It is basically every option on the menu,

I am able to reproduce this problem any time.

    1. Start Logos with active internet connection.

    2. Lose internet connection while still using the program.  (This happens a bit where I live).

    3. Right click to get the context menu, and then select any option.

    4. Choose a resource on the left side of the menu.

    5. Result:  The spinning beach ball of death.

    Running Mac OSX 10.11.1

    Logos Bible Software 6.7 SR-1 6.7.0.0044

I have two sets of logs.

The logs are not conclusive enough to know what is happening. You should contact Tech Support as they can logon to your computer to diagnose the problem.

Not if Kevin's lost his internet connection they won't!

Yes.  The problem is seen when there is a loss of internet connection...which would terminate the Tech Support connection.

    Another dimension to this problem.

Loss of internet connection causes Logos 6 to crash when shutting down.

The log looks clear enough to me. I don't know what's causing the crash, but I would think a dev would be able to, from the log and your description. I'll try and alert one to this thread.

Loss of internet connection causes Logos 6 to crash when shutting down.

I'm sorry for the frustration, the issue is stemming from as you put it, a loss of internet.  The software hasn't actually crashed, it is waiting for a response from the server before it closes and is listed in the Force Quit menu as not responding, however it's waiting for a web response.  This is unfortunately a known issue when the internet is spotty.

Our software is reaching out to the web to sync or check for web related content from the context menu.  It will not progress unless it gets a response from the web for all of it's queries or the requests time out.  In situations where there is less than ideal internet, you would get a faster response if working offline.  If you were let Logos sit it will eventually close itself out after those time outs or it successfully communicates with the web.
