How well does Logos perform with a killer system?

Without a doubt, Logos 6 needs some substantial hardware to get immediate performance from the product. I just built a new PC as follows:
- Asus X99/USB 3.1 mobo
- EVGA 02G-P4-3753-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card
- Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W BX80648I75820K Desktop Processor
- SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 500GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E500B/AM
- G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Desktop Memory Model F4-2400C15Q-32GRR
- Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
So, basically, it's an Intel 6-core CPU, 32gb of RAM, and a 500gb Samsung SSD system running Windows 10. What does this do to Logos 6?
I have about 9500+ books in my library. The software comes up in 9.95 seconds. Once you're in it, it's just lightning quick to respond. I did a search on "everything" for Gen 1:1 and it came back in 4.25 seconds. S-s-s-mokin.

The SSD is whats going to make the greatest impact. Other forum member can personally attest to the performance.
EDIT: I just realized the post is not a question to us, but an imposed question, and the answer. [:)]

Well, I have a similar system, bought for CAD in 2013, with W8.1.
I am not sure what you mean by the startup, but I can say when I start it the blue square takes 10 seconds then the go-around-cursor takes another 10 seconds, after that it is ready. I have 4300 books.
You did not mention your network connection, it may affect the startup, too. Mine in 100 Mbit/s, but I guess the Logos servers are not up to that?

The blue square and the go-around-cursor are done in less than 10 seconds on my system. As a matter of fact, I just timed it again and this time both completed in 8.46 seconds.
My network connection is hard-wired on a 1000 Mbit/s router. I suspect that doesn't figure in much since the books are on the SSD. Obviously, it is hitting Logos' servers to get info displayed on the home page.

I agree and it sounds like you have a nice setup now.

This is just a little slower but still under a second, but over twice the number of results returned.
If you want to boost speeds more, get a second SSD, and set up RAID 0 (you can do it without a complete system reinstall if you know what you are doing but not for the faint of heart). Be sure and have an excellent backup strategy, if either disk goes everything goes. That said, with 23,000 resources it cut 30 minutes off of the "reindex all" time, it is now completed in about 3.5 hours.

Regarding search speed, it seems to me that subsequent searches are much faster. Maybe it depends what secret computer factories are running deep in the mysterious bowels of a computer, but aside from that, an initial search that takes 4 seconds that is run again may take 1/4-1/10 as long. Logos is real smart.

Is it time we start thinking of the environmental impact of a Logos search on a machine like that?
... No the raw power is great fun!

But seriously put that same SSD into a 7 year old machine and Logos is a satisfactory experience.
