SUGGESTION: Enhancement to Passage List Add from Selected Text

The Add from Selected Text for the Passage List works very well with inline scripture references. However, when the references are provided in footnotes, it becomes essentially useless. An example:
Augustine of Hippo. Sermons on Selected Lessons of the New Testament. Vol. I & II. A Library of Fathers of the Holy Catholic Church, Anterior to the Division of the East and West. Oxford; London: John Henry Parker; J. G. F. and J. Rivington; J. and F. Rivington, 1844–1845.
Please provide an option for the selected text to include footnote references.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
