Merge or move large number of highlights to different note

Has anyone found a way to move a large group of highlights or notes from one “Note” to another?  Over the past 3 or 4 years I was not careful where I put my highlights, and now I would like to organize them better.  There are so many that it would not be worth doing them one by one.  Another approach that could work would be to merge one note file into another, but I can’t figure out how to do that either.  I use the Windows Desktop (Logos 6) and iOS on an iPad.

For clarification: Do you mean to ask: "Is there a method to move a large group of highlights or notes from one note document to another? (a highlight IS a note, and is stored in a note document. The default behavior is for highlight notes to be stored in a note document named for the pallet the highlighter comes from... i.e. "solid colors"). 

Another approach that could work would be to merge one note file into another, but I can’t figure out how to do that either.

There isn't a fully supported method to "merge" note documents... I don't think you can rename note documents to match one another, but you could try. I would start with two temp documents and go from there. 

I think the only method you have is to click and drag each note from one document to another.
