The Didascalia Apostolorum Questions

This is an interesting MS, and if you read just the intro it is probably a unique gem for study.

Here is my question: Under the Chapter Heading, there is print in italic. Does anyone know if this is the original text or a note from the translator? Or why it would be in Italics? Thanks.

I do not have an original of this book. However, based on the scan of this book (1903 edition) at Archive.org, the original had one or more sentences in italics for each chapter of the book.

Certainly looks like a note from the translator summarizing the content of each chapter and probably in italics to ensure it was not confused with the translation of the original.
