Resource specific fonts

I would like to have resource specific fonts (book-specific user selectable fonts)

The following is a bit like a joke but illustrates what might be useful: Fette Fraktur for the Luther Bibel? https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/fette-fraktur/

I mean the font is part of the publication (resource), and in the old/ancient resources it would help if it looks old

Also it would be good to select specific Arabic font for the Quran and a different for some other books in Arabic, others may find more examples.

What I know about the Mac and Windows systems, it would be relatively easy to implement resource-specific fonts.

I like this suggestion. If I open any older book in my paper library I could often tell it was old just from the font that was used.

What makes you think that is would be "relatively easy to implement"? Theoretically how would this work in Logos? I'm guessing that it is more complex than we might think.

The fonts are part of the Windows and Mac operating systems, and since the font sizing works already, the font style change should not crash anything.

This feature needs a resource-specific flag either in the resource file itself or in the same place where Logos stores the font size flag.

The user interface could be in the same place as the font sizing interface.

Then just some elementary coding, and the feature is there [I] !

    I like this idea also.

When I used Accordance, I could have my Bible in one font, commentaries in another, and so forth. It just sort of gave a me a "feel" of what book I was looking at just by the font.

Ditto! I work in languages which use different scripts. Not all fonts have those scripts included. As a matter of fact for some scripts I need a special font for it to display. And as has already been mentioned, sometimes it would be nice to select a specific font for these scripts because some are more readable than others.
