I wanted to find all the New Testament uses of Greek Word κληρονομέω, inherit so I did a Bible Word Study. The Translation section showed 18 without saying what they are, and a ring shape graphic. I clicked on the "inherit" segment of the ring to get a list of verses which was labeled "inherit | 17 of 18" but there were 19 uses highlighted.
After some time trying to figure out what I was looking at, I started this post and just now figured it out. My mind was on how many times the word occurred because I was doing a WORD study. But apparently Logos reports how many VERSES the word occurs in. The software is quite complex, I can't keep track of all the assumptions as I am focused on other issues of study. It may seem like a minor issue, but it would certainly have saved time if this was labeled as "17 of 18 verses". Just offering a suggestion that would streamline my study.
