LogosLauncher (Logos Bible Software 4 COM Launcher) not launching from VBA (Macro)

Since last week, a new problem using the Logos COM API has inhibited me from using a trusty VBA macro. Now, my macro indefinitely waits for the LogosLauncher to return, freezing Microsoft Word. The problem is occurring with the line: Set launcher = New LogosLauncher

After the macro attempts to load the launcher, I see the "Logos Bible Software 4 COM Launcher" process running in the Task Manager.

I have never experienced this problem before. I have been using this macro for years and through multiple versions of Logos (4, 5, and 6). It has been working on with Logos 6 and Word 2016 for months, so it seems that it has something to do with a recent update to Logos (no changes on my end with Windows or Word).

Using:

  • Logos Bible Software 6.7 SR-1 6.7.0.0044
  • Microsoft Word 2016
  • Windows 10

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
