Searching on a recently opened book

I opened Pillar NT Commentary on Mark because I want to search on a word in the book. Navigated to Search and Recent resources but it doesn't show up in the list. I have opened and closed the app several times in hopes it would show up. Is there something more I need to do to search on this resource? Or to get it to show up in the list?
