I never understand why they give free books in a series away but do not allow dynamic pricing on the larger collection, it provides a positive reason not to buy the larger set and undermines the marketing effort.

I believe that the lack of dynamic pricing is generally a contractual issue with the publisher. However, when I've paid nothing or next to nothing for the portion I own, I think of it as dynamic pricing based on what I paid. [:)]

FYI Dynamic pricing does apply to the Old Testament Library Series (the Isaiah volume was April's FBOTM).

As a general rule, this isn't the case (At least from my observation). In most cases I have seen, dynamic pricing IS in play, and other forum members have commented as such.

Having bought these two resources for $1.99, I'm now seeing a dynamic pricing discount of nearly $50 on the NT set! It did take a few hours of the website to notice my purchase, however.
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!
