I pray that as leaders we all can one day all afford continuing education. I so desire to learn more and college is not an option financially. I also struggle with memory since my last seizure along with some learning difficulties. Churches today require a great deal of educational background from those in leadership. I don't have a doctorate, a masters, or even a bachelor's degree. I do have an associate degree.

I have pastored for 15 years. I was a senior Pastor for 10, and currently I am interim pastor at a church I served in. I also lead an urban ministry out of another church, which has a food bank. This ministry has blossomed. We have quadrupled in size in sixteen months. They are such a blessing.I serve a their pastor. I only do both jobs on a small salary.

I just ask for your prayers for a full-time ministry, wherever God desires, preferably a warm climate. Lol. Also that he would provide a way for me and my wife to continue our education.

Hi Duane - I would stand in agreement with your prayer. You clearly have a real desire to know God more deeply, minister in His Name and follow where He wants to take you. God bless your ongoing commitment to Him. 

May the Lord bless you and heal you completely so that you suffer no seizures and your mind, memory and abilities are perfected for His glory. May He deepen your relationship with Him, prosper your ministry, bring you into a full-time position and provide the necessary resources for your lives and the education you and your wife are seeking. May He guide your steps and release His power in greater measure in you both. I ask this in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
