no resources in logos 4 for max

i just installed logos 4 for mac, and i have no resources in it. it took about 7 hours to download, so it was downloading my books, but i can't see them in my library when i search for anything. no bibles or books or anything. the news page comes up on the home page, but when i click the book icon, i get to the library page and nothing is in there. does anyone know what i should do?

Has L4 completed indexing? Do you see a Logos icon near the right end of your Menu Bar?

thanks for replying jack! i finished the whole installation, and that icon disappeared after it was all done. the icon has since come back and says that it is now installing updates.

I hope this will give you your library. I will be away from my computer until Sunday evening, but someone else should provide assistance.

You do realize that L4 Mac is still a work in progress, don't you? A lot of features are not implemented yet, and it is prone to do strange things (freeze, crash, throw trash on your floor, etc).

If things are still not working, post your logs (Item 6 in the first link in my signature).

it looks like all my books came in! so, just for anyone else reading -
this is what may happen with logos 4 for mac (i installed alpha 13a) -
it will download your resources for many hours (mine took about 7) and
then sometime later (i don't know what triggered it) it will start
downloading "updates" which takes another 7 hours. after that, i had all
my books. thanks jacob and jack!
