Interactive Suggestion: Apostle's use of Christ's Teaching

Along the same line with the New Testament use of the Old Interactive tool, I'd like to suggest an interactive tool that deals with how the Apostels (Acts - Rev) use, allude etc. what Christ taught in the gospels. I don't think anybody has come up with such data yet. But the New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge would be one resource to consult for that. I was also thinking of some NT commentaries like some of the Hermeneia Series that have a section that deals with Sayings of Jesus etc. as part of the authorship discussion. There might be other resources that can be consulted and others could help suggest them.

I find it interesting that we have scripture harmonies of all kinds but none that deals with how the teaching of Christ was used and interpreted in the apostolic writings. I love to explore how e.g. the law was interpreted in the historical and prophetic writings, then how the OT was used in the NT. For me the next step would be to trace how the apostles have used the teaching of Christ in their writings.

Well, I might just think outside the box a bit more than others do. But why would I find this tool helpful? We could ask the same question for other harmonies or "OT use in NT" resources. The reasons are many. 

• Hermeneutics: how did the Apostles that followed Christ interpret the teachings of Christ for the church? I know that the gospels were not necessarily recorded before the Apostles wrote their letters. But even if the Gospels did not exist in written form, the oral tradition did exist. What the Gospel writers wrote down concerning Christ's doctrine was known to the Apostels of Christ. When the Apostles wrote to the Churches they had in mind 1) what Christ did - his work, and 2) what Christ taught - his teaching. If they departed from that, they could not have been Apostles of Jesus Christ.
• Hermeneutics: for those that read and interpret scripture progressively, it is interesting to know how concepts were revealed and developed from the law to the writings and to the NT. But I would not stop here. Yes, both Christ and the Apostles quoted and alluded to the OT. But to me, Christ's teaching gets a special place. And yet it at times is difficult to place. Christ taught in a jewish OT context. He taught them before the cross so to speak. But he also spoke to his disciples and he spoke of the time after the cross. Seeing how the Apostles in the epistles use, allude and interpret what Christ taught himself can be a helpful step in doing exegesis. 
• Introductory Questions: Issues like Authorship of the epistles, their relationship to Christ or disciples of Christ, who made use of what source, canonicity of the epistles, all of these can be illuminated by looking at how they used or alluded to what Christ taught.

That's what comes to my mind right now.
