Downloading new books

I have received notification that my books are ready for download/unlock. Unfortunately, the script included in the email does not function. Windows does not know what program to use to run the program. When I go online, the same problem occurs -- cannot run the update program and the new books remain on the Logos server.
What to do?

John,
You don't need to download new resources unless you are using them in Logos 3. Your licenses have been updated on the Logos server. Type 'Update Resources' in the Command Bar of Logos 4, hit enter, and you should see the words 'Checking for Updates' appear in the URH corner of your Logos screen (next to the syncing icon). Give this time. It should discover the missing (new) resources and download them automatically. There will be a s all blue Logos icon in the system tray to notify you that updates are ready to install when the downloading is complete. Click on it.

I've typed "Update Resources," it checks for them, but nothing happens. I should be getting Liddel-Scott, but it's still not showing up.

In addition to Mark's hints sometimes Logos 4 needs to be restarted before it will realize that books are waiting for it on the server.

When you update a resource, what if this resource is one that you have added your own tags? Will the tags still be there?

Yes, markups, tag, metadata etc. are not stored in the book file so you shouldn't' lose anything when an updated version is rolled out with typo fixes and the like.
