I have discovered that notes I create in my stable release sync with my beta but not the other way around. I have also discovered I have different favorites lists in my beta than I do my stable release. Are these supposed to be synchronizing?
There are probably code differences between the beta and stable release in those documents and favorites and probably other portions of code - thus it wouldn't be backwards compatible - so I believe this is expected behavior. Be careful what you erase in the beta - I have read posts that some things that are erased in the beta may also erase in the stable version like collections and documents.
I thought that might be the issue.

I erased duplicate collections in 4.0b which has decimated my collections in 4.0a! The bug appears to have been fixed in B10 and the (4.0b format) collections will be restored when I upgrade 4.0a to 4.0b.
