6.8 RC 1: Bug: Exegetical Guide not displaying all morphologies

I learned recently that the exegetical guide should display data from all morphologies, not just the presently selected one. It does this by noting differences after displaying a ± sign. Hovering over the ± shows the different morphologies.

This isn't working correctly on 6.8. For example:

This is from Ezk 21:28 (BHS, it's 21:23 in English versions).

But the hover text is only showing me the morphology from Westminster, SESB and WIVU. It's not showing me the Lexham Hebrew morphology or the Andersen-Forbes morphology. I was under the impression that when there's a difference between morphologies, all morphologies should be shown.

I get a similar problem in the NT. There, I only see Logos Greek Morphology and Friberg. I don't see GRAMCORD, Robinson or Swanson.

I would compare results on my machine, but this isn't available on the MAC as of yet....not trying to totally high jack this thread, but along with an answer on the above any word yet on when the MAC will have this implemented (we can see the +/- but it does not have the tooltip)?

Mark, I seem to be getting proper results for the Hebrew in 6.8 release (0049):

Are you still getting the same incorrect results? I'll admit the mechanics of original language stuff is over my head, so I can pass it along if you're still having an issue.

I've regained Logos Hebrew — I've no idea why — but I'm still not seeing Andersen-Forbes.

By the way, your screenshot shows results from an earlier edition of Westminster (4.2?). The morphology was corrected in later editions (as you can see from my screenshot which is 4.18). If you have both editions in your library, shouldn't both Westminsters be showing up (although that's possibly a different issue).

But after all, this answers the question from the original thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/120197.aspx

If I change the version in the Exegetical Guide to Andersen-Forbes, it then appears in the morphology, but I lose Logos Hebrew.

Sorry for us taking a while to get back to this.  I'm trying to replicate your results on Beta 2 however I have encountered a new bug.  The \pm \!\, symbol isn't a hyperlink for me.  I'm filing a bug for it, are you still having the original issue on the current beta?

If you're on a Mac, that would explain it. The symbol has never worked as a pop-up on Macs.

    • If my Bible version is set to one that uses Logos Hebrew Morphology, I don't see Andersen Forbes in the ± comparisons.
    • If my Bible version uses Andersen Forbes I don't see Logos Hebrew Morphology.
    • If my Bible version is WIVU, SESB or Westminster, I see neither Logos Hebrew Morphology or Andersen Forbes.

    Mark,

I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Are you still experiencing this issue on 6.12 or 6.13 Beta 1? Have you noticed any changes?

    Blessings,

    Philana
