I'm new to the Logos 6 desktop app. I also have the Logos apps on my iPod and iPad. I can find my Bibles (the ESV and others) on my iPod and iPad, but how in the world do I find my Bibles on my desktop?
I can't provide a screenshot easily at the moment, but open the Library (click on the book image at the top left between the home and the magnifying glass). Type "NIV" or "ESV" or whatever the abbreviation for your favourite Bible is.
In the list below it, you should find the Bible you're looking for.
Click on the cover image of that Bible.
Click on the tab at the top of the Bible panel that opens, and drag it to the right of the command bar at the top of the window. This will create a shortcut that you can simply click on to open the Bible in future.
Note that the iOS apps come with a number of free resources (including the ESV) that are only available in the iOS app; those free resources don't automatically appear on the desktop, but must be purchased.
Ahhh, I think that may be my problem. I have not purchased a Bible.
That would explain it
