It would be nice to have the opoup with the information popup somewhere other than the bottom of the page- very difficult to read and annoying ot have to look down and search for it.
I, like some of the other in the first thread, would also appreciate to have the pop up closer to the text that I am reading. I don't know if it has to be right on the text, maybe 1/2 inch or so beneath it would be good for me.
i think the bottom is the appropriate place for the popup.Sometimes i turn Off the popup info (in Program Settings) and just keep the INFO panel open with its setting set to On Click. That way i just click on a word and glance over to the Info panel to see pertinent info on that word.

Why? Is the pop-up window not useful enough? Or is it too far away for you?
BTW--I usually use the info panel like you do, but it's because the pop-up is too far off to read comfortably (and it doesn't contain all the information I would like and some, like the Strong's #, that I don't need).

I would still like the option to have it placed right under the word so my eyes don't have to jump all the way to the bottom of the page.
I actually use both on a regular basis depending on the resource. For instance this year I'm reading the NA28 GBS which only has the parsing in the popup so I've used the info window for quick definitions at the same time.

On a Thursday night Bible study i bring my laptop and connect to a large screen television so the whole group sees my Logos screen. When moving the mouse it is very distracting to see the popup info on the TV screen, so i have it disabled. i have the Info panel over on the left and use it when we need info of the OL of a word.
Also often there is a leading article in the popup and the primary lemma word is much further across on the popup. This usually takes more time for my (old) eyes to locate the lemma that i am interested in.
i would have no objections if the setting still defaulted to the bottom. Having the popup below the mouse would be distracting and constantly forcing me to relocate the mouse's position to prevent the popup from interfering with my reading.
i use the popup typically during personal study and when i need screen real-estate for other things.
I feel it is better to have the popup in the bottom of the page than it covering the information I intended to reading.
Actually it would be good if the user could have some control: popups on or off (resource/tool specific, with a perpetually visible toggle and/or shortcut) and also the user could control where it pops up. In some cases transparency could also help.

I agree with this completely. I would like the pop-up a little ways from where I'm reading (1/2 inch or maybe a couple inches), but not all the way at the bottom of the page.
