The divergence of Verbum/Logos

Its not in the liturgical/nonliturgical dichotomy but in the implementation of religious education in a manner totally ignored by Logos.  See the videos on the high school religious ed program especially the textbook and teacher's resource at the end. This application shows the real power of Logos outside the pastor and academic market.

    Great point about the use of Logos in other contexts. I'd love to see this catch on. I know the one-to-one device-to-student ratio is an obstacle for some schools, but I think that is the direction many schools are going anyway and many other textbook companies are now seeking to provide digital supplements. Logos software definitely has a leg up on any digital offerings from other textbook companies simply because of their decades of experience doing this.

    And the students get to keep their Verbum library going forward from high school! Even if many students ignore their library after graduation, I'm sure there will be a chunk of people that continue to go back to their resources.

    Yes, this would seem to be a great approach to H.S. Religious Ed programs.  I passed this information along to some of the teachers in my area some time ago when it was first being promoted.  I'm not sure that any have taken steps to adopt.  I suspect there are financial limitations for schools.

    Same here. Plus, the schools in my area had just implemented the Didache series. After just having bought all those books, it wasn't an ideal time to switch to something else. Maybe in a few more years. [;)]
