Highlights not showing up

I know this seems like an easy question - but I have tried all I know. I have highlighted a book (The Christian Faith - by Horton) on my iPad. When I open it on my Mac (with latest update of software - as well as my iPad) only some of the highlights come over. I have restarted Logos on both. Made sure both have been connected and are connected to WiFi. Double-checked visual filters to make sure highlighting is enabled (and it is on the Mac)...but still only some of the highlights show up on the Mac that are clearly visible and there on my iPad. What do you all need from me to help figure this out? Thanks.

What behavior do you have set up on desktop & mobile for where notes are stored? You said that "highlighting is enabled." Were ALL note documents enabled?

Screen shots might help.
- Check the note document on your iPad, and confirm the name of that document.
- Check the document for the highlighting notes on documents.logos.com
- If the highlights are on documents.logos.com, check the note document on your desktop. If the notes are in all three places, the issue resides with "seeing" the highlight on desktop.
Also, you haven't told us what version of the mobile app, nor which version of L6 engine you are running. "latest version of software" isn't informative. You might be wrong!

Ok - here is a screen shot from the computer. I'm running 6.8.0.0049 on my Mac and 5.0.4 on my iPad.
As you can see I have the visual filters enabled. However, online it seems like i have and Emphasis Markup (6) - but I don't see that as an option for this book. Here is how you see some differing highlights on the iPad. I hope this helps. Thanks.

Did you scroll down? In your desktop screen shot, I see:
- Emphasis Markup (5)
- Highlighter Pens
What is below "Highlighter Pens" (if anything)?
Also: Did YOU intentionally create "Emphasis Markup (5)" and "Emphasis Markup (6)"?

I tried to scroll down - it won't go any further. I have not intentionally created any notes related to highlighting. I have with note documents - say for Luke or reading through Mc'Cheyne's plan - but never for highlighting. And "Emphasis Markup (6)" shows up in the documents menu of Logos - but for some reason isn't "populated" (if that is the right word) for the resource.

Just to double check.. Did you try scrolling both directions (in case you were scrolling the wrong way)?

FL needs to take a look at this. There is no reason for you to have multiple documents!

Have you opened the document? Do you see the highlights? Have you clicked on them?

I did scroll both ways - nothing else there. I have multiple docs it seems for a number. Tried to click on stuff - in the documents.logos.com there are 6 emphasis markup documents but three have no number reference and then three are 2,3,4 respectively. It all seems a bit messed up to me...that's why I asked for help.

Please open the one numbered (6) on your desktop and post a screenshot.

Which number 6 - on documents.logos.com or on my Logos program?

I am trying to verify if the notes have synced to your desktop or not... If the notes are in the document, then they did. If they aren't there, then they didn't.
If the notes are @ documents.logos.com but NOT in the document (6) on your desktop, then it DID sync with the cloud.
If the notes aren't either place, then we need to look at the mobile app.

I'm a bit puzzled (and concerned). Are the numbers (2), (3) ...etc. copy numbers i.e. the number generated because it is a multiple copy of a file? If so, the numbers would not matched across platforms unless all of them were created in order across all platforms.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I have had a similar issue recently, but it was determined to be an issue with the beta iOS app. The term "multiple copy" isn't the best wording, but I don't know a better one. Here is what it looked like in my case (using "resource specific" note documents):
- I had a note document (automatically created) entitled New International Version. Every highlight (as per my settings) in the NIV did (and should) have gone into that note document.
- A SECOND note document, at an indeterminate time, was created called New International Version (2). From that point on, every highlight created from the mobile app went into the second note document.
NOTE: the "duplication" is only of the naming of the document. The CONTENT of the document was NOT duplicated. It appears that Chad experienced a similar symptom, if not quite the same issue.

Here is a screenshot showing the "Emphasis Markup" notes in the doc online file - but I don't know which one of them it would all be in.
Yuck. I guess you will have to open each one. I would do so in a separate tab. Press and hold the command key when you click on the link and it will open in a new tab. That will help you to make sure you actually open each one.

What exactly do I need to look for opening it up? Some of them have pages upon pages of notes. I've got them all open, but not sure what to do with it.
I just took a look at one of mine... I guess it would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Don't waste your time.

What about the desktop? That was the one I really wanted to see. Was that the screenshot which wouldn't upload?

Here you go...got the program notes files all opened up in separate tabs.
If you can definitively verify that the highlights shown in the iPad screen shot is stored in Emphasis Markup (6) on mobile, than it seem clear that it hasn't synced to the desktop. It will be key, however, to verify that piece.
I looked over your documents.logos.com screenshot again, and one is dated "December 16," which should be the one you are looking for. I think. [:)] Again, the point at looking at that is to see if you can discover if it has actually synced with the desktop.
You might want to try killing the mobile app, restarting the device, and opening the app up again to see if you can force a sync.
