List of All Tags Used

Y'all --
I have a ton of tags I've used over the years... I've kindof lost track of what I've used for what. Does anyone know of a way to output a list of all the tags you have assigned to resources?

If you're talking about the tags that you assign on the resource level, I'd suggest simply opening the library window and sorting by "mytag." If that column isn't displayed in you're library you'll need to right click on a header and check the mytag option. When you sort by mytag, you can have all rows collapsed (right click and "collapse all") which will in essence give you an exhaustive list of all the tags you've used. You'll also be able see how many resources are tagged with each without having to expand each section.
If this is not what you were talking about, please clarify.

This is a good idea -- thanks! I would like to have a feature that allows me to export them all...

Russ, I don't believe that Logos offers a feature where you can just export your tags but I agree that this would be a great feature.
Steve Clark has developed a program that he calls "Logos Library Reporter" that will allow you to - See this extensive thread - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/85971.aspx?PageIndex=1
Here is a link to his website for this - http://l4libreport.clark-tx.net/index.htm?doc=manual#
Personally I have managed my tags by keeping a list that also allows me to write notes about each tag. Here is my latest version. - 7752.My Tagging System for Logos.docx

I had been using "To Read" as a tag, but I like your idea of categories for this tag. Thanks, Bruce.

You are welcome. My recommendation is not to include spaces between in any tags you create to make it easier for searching. For instance ToRead is better that To Read. It avoids the need to have to put quotes around the words.

I had forgotten about this thread and had recently posted on another that we needed a way to examine our existing tags. All the current information on tags assumes that you are tagging resources and that they can be perused in the library pane. That clearly won't work for tags on notes and other things.
Attempting to follow up on said request, I stumbled on this thread, again. This time, I notice that your tags document pastes very nicely into a note! I wish I had thought of that, before. I have now pasted into a note in my General Notes file where I will modify it as my own. It is certainly a good starting point for a tagging regimen.
Thanks again, Bruce!

Glad to be of some help to you David. By the way, here is an updated version of my tags as I am continually adding to it. - 1057.My Tagging System for Logos.docx
