Bug: Logos 6 won't open on my Mac

Hi! I've been using Logos 6 for a while (and loving it) but over the past several days I haven't been able to open it on my Mac. When I click the icon on my dock, it bounces like it's going to open, but that's all it does.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Does this apply?

In the mean time, try starting with a blank layout. Click on the icon to launch Logos, then immediately hold down on the command key. You'll get a window where you can open Logos with a blank layout. If this works, you'll have to rebuild your layouts (or wait for the fix).
EDIT: for future reference, you should get your logs and post (not paste) them as per the instructions found at the link in my signature.

I don't think so. I held down command for 10 seconds and that window didn't open. Thanks, though!

You should hold it down for at least as long as your "preparing library" state normally takes ... I don't know how long that is on your machine but for some it is > 10 seconds.

This sounds like an old bug rather than the new one introduced by 6.8. Try opening Logos from the Applications Folder rather than the dock. If it opens then, let us know.
I will need to refresh my memory on the next step.

Try downloading a new copy of the application and replace the one in your Applications folder. Don't delete anything else (like the data in the Application Support folder). Go here to download the new copy: https://www.logos.com/install
Then, as Jack said, start Logos from the Applications folder.
EDIT: It looks like you are running Logos 6.7. Be aware that the new copy will be 6.8, so you may run across the bug MJ mentioned above. Hopefully Faithlife will have 6.8 SR-1 this week to fix that.

6.8 SR-1 has now shipped. [:)]
