BUG: Random choice of Bible book reference system

1. Do an "All Bibles" Bible search for "Hannah"

2. Send to Passage List.

3. BUG: Observe that most of the time the book is called 1 Samuel but it is sometimes 1 Kingdoms implying that the results pick up the first name encountered. I would expect all references to refer to the same referencing scheme.

4. BUGETTE: Observe that the book of Odes is not given a text. I would prefer that it work down my priority list until text for Odes is found.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I confirmed and filed the bug with 1 Kingdoms rendering.

The "bugette" is by design. Given that the versions text box specifies the NRSV, we only show text from the NRSV, full stop. (As I know you know but everyone reading may not know, NRSV doesn't have Odes.) We have discussed adding the behavior you expected, but for "Full" view when no versions are specified. (As it stands, if no versions are specified, there is no difference between "Full" and "Compact." But "Full" could just as easily show the text of the top text for each reference.)

This makes sense to me, for whatever that is worth. [:)]

I would love to see this implemented. Without it, passage lists from a mix of resources is a nightmare (create one from the Ancient Literature Section to see what I mean).
