One verse per line

In the "one verse per line" view is there any way to insert a comment/grammatical/linguistic remark immediately under the verse?

You could create a highlighting style, but I am not sure what the text limit would be

I'm not quite sure what you're referring to.
What I'd like to do is this. Imagine it's Tuesday morning and you're in your study. You pull out a piece of paper and write down the first verse of a Book - let's say Jn 1.1 which will be your text for the up and coming Sunday message.
In the beginning was the word and the word was God and the Word was with God.
What I'd like to do then is insert my own study notes underneath verse 1 and then move on to the following verses doing the same thing.
So with the word "In" in verse one I'd like to do a Gk. study. What does the word "in" mean? Ev. Then underneath that do a study on the word "beginning" / arche
Then insert an outline for my sermon with points and illustrations etc.
I'd like to know if I/we can insert semons, study notes, etc within the ESV or any other Bible.
Anyway of doing that?

No you can't insert text within a Bible
You can create a note linked to the verse and place your content there
